RSP Winter School Success

3rd March 2009, by

Following the enormous success of the RSP Summer Schools, the first RSP Winter School took place at the end of February at the New Lanark Mill Hotel, Scotland. Set in a World Heritage Site and surrounded by native woodlands and close to the famous Falls of Clyde, New Lanark was founded in 1785 as a cotton spinning village and became famous as the site of Robert Owen's pioneering social reforms.

In a packed programme running over three days, delegates heard talks and presentations from a host of invited experts, covering a wide range of topics relating to the management and administration of institutional repositories.

Workshops exploring best practice and s allowed delegates to explore issues in more depth. The numerous and varied networking opportunities meant delegates could catch up with peers and talk to the speakers.

The programme and slides from this event can be found in our events archive.
