On 10th December 2010 RSP held an event aimed at librarians in higher education and research libraries that provided an overview of Open Access publishing and its potential impact on their working practices.
Entitled Open Access: the impact for libraries and librarians, this busy event saw over eighty delegates being addressed by a diverse range of speakers from the open access community, repository managers and administrators and representatives from publishers and funding bodies.
Feedback so far indicates that the event has been very well received.
The speakers' presentations can be downloaded from the event page and Valérie Spezi has written a full report on the event on the University of Leicester library blog.
