The Repositories Support Project (RSP) ran from November 2006 – 31 July 2013. During that time the RSP ran 50 face-to-face events; 7 residential schools and 43 one-day events. Over 1,506 delegates attended events, from 257 different organizations. The RSP hosted 16 webinars for 1,017 delegates, 270 of which were international. A large proportion of the international delegates were from the USA, Ireland, Lithuania, Spain, Portugal and Mexico. Delegates also attended online webinars from Argentina, South Africa, Canada, Nigeria, Italy, Germany and other locations. The RSP conducted 94 consultancy visits. You can see a list of the past events below, and you can access where available the accompanying PowerPoint presentations, videos, and photo galleries.

In this free webinar, Scott Lapinski, Digital Resource and Services Librarian, Countway Medical Library, Harvard University, is going to discuss the National Institutes of Health (NIH) public-access policy and the issues and workflows that should be part of any outreach effort to support researchers with repository submission requirements under funder-mandate guidelines. This is the first in a series of webinars on advocacy issues concerning institutional repositories.

This event will also disseminate the findings of the RePOSIT project.
RSP has also invited leading suppliers of Repository and CRIS software who will be taking part in an exhibition which will be held throughout the day in the refreshments area.

SHERPA/RoMEO data is increasingly being used in CRIS systems to integrate publication lists with institutional open access repositories. This is usually achieved using the RoMEO Application Programmers’ Interface, and CRIS applications increased usage of the API 10-fold during 2010. This has performance implications both for CRIS applications and for RoMEO itself.
